Today is the first test for Gordon Brown

Published by davidallen at 10:31 am under London, UK Edit This

It makes no difference what people say or do, when it comes to politics it all boils down to one thing and that is what happens at the elections. It may not be a general election this time, but it will sure wake a few people up, no matter the result.

In the capital London is probably the most important sign of all, as Londoners will be voting for the next Mayor of London, and as of yet there is not real indication as to how the vote will be going.

Gordon Brown

Around the UK there are also 159 councils with 4,102 seats available, and although these local elections have little effect on a general election, it could provide us with a guide to how the people are seeing the first year of Gordon Browns Premiership and whether or not there may be second.

It is not likely that all of the results will be known much before tomorrow evening, we can be rest assured though that there will some changes being made on Monday morning.
